Decorating Classes

CHOCOLATE CLASS INFORMATION

All chocolate candy classes are taught hands-on. This means you make the candy -take it home -eat and enjoy it! Each class taken is $30.00 for 3 hours. Class descriptions are listed below. You and the instructor can determine which dates and times will be suitable for each. You will be responsible for purchasing the molds ($1.99 each) that are used in class. The instructor supplies all other products. Call Ellen, at (407)273-2607 to sign up or for more information. You must sign up prior to attending class.

Class fee must be in cash or check to the instructor the day of the class. Classes fill quickly so don’t wait till the last minute.

Candy 1 – You will learn how to melt the chocolate in order to keep it usable for the whole time you wish to use it and how to paint with colored chocolate. You will have to purchase 1 mold that the instructor chooses. This class is highly recommended before taking other classes.

Candy 2 – In this class you will do all kinds of dipping and decorating – fruit, cookies, pretzels, and other delicious foods. You will also learn how to make chocolate covered oreos in the mold. You will need to purchase 1 mold.

Candy 3 – This is a unique class. You will color (with dusting powders) 12-14 different flowers – package them – arrange them in a pot – and take them home. No mold is required

Candy 4  – You will learn how to make filled candies –cherry cordials, peanut butter cups, caramels, etc. You will have to purchase 3-4 molds.

Candy 5 – In this class you will make double sided (3-D) chocolate, make the 3-D Christmas sleigh, learn to use edible images and get recipe on how to make chocolate clay. You will have to purchase 3-4 molds.

Cake Decorating Classes for 2010

Gumpaste Beginners Class- $55.00.In this class you will learn basic techniques on how to work with gum paste. You will also learn to make the following flowers Calla Lily, Azalea, Dogwood, Stephanotis…
One day ,four hour class 10:00am-2:00pm January 9 ,February 6, March 6.

Fondant Class--$65.00. In this class you learn to work with Fondant and how to cover a square and round dummy. Also how to make a bow, swags and drapes. One day ,four hour class 10:00am-2:00pm
January 13 , or 23, February 10 or 13, March 10 or 13

Intermediate Gumpaste- $45.00..( must have taken beginners class)In this class you will learn to make Alstromeria, Gerbera Daisy, Cosmos.
One day ,Three hour class 10:00am-1:00pm January 20 , February 20, March 16
Roses- 45.00 ..( must have taken beginners class) In this class you will learn to make a bouquet of Roses. One day three hour class. 10:00am-1:00pm January 30, February 16
