The Fat Daddio's anodizing process is a safe, environmentally friendly, electrochemical process that thickens, toughens, and seals the naturally occurring protective oxide found on aluminum. Natural aluminum is a soft, porous metal with deep pores that accumulate contaminants, breakdown and actually leak into foods. The Fat Daddio's process ensures superior durability with better cake release, easier clean up, that won't discolor, protection from all acidic foods and detergents, and that are 100% dishwasher safe.
