The Fat Daddio's anodizing process is a safe, environmentally friendly, electrochemical process that thickens, toughens, and seals the naturally occurring protective oxide found on aluminum. Natural aluminum is a soft, metal with deep pores that accumulate contaminants and actually leak into foods. The Fat Daddio's process seals these pores and ensures superior durability with better cake release, easier clean up, protection from acidic foods and detergents, and are 100% dishwasher safe and wont discolor.
